Meet Our School Psychologist
As a doctorate level school psychologist with 20 years of experience, a master's degree in special education and a bachelor's degree in psychology, Dr. Sadd's primary role is to support students and parents as they navigate the complexities of their child’s specific learning needs and development. By leveraging her expertise in both psychology and special education, she strives to help parents understand the complexity of psychoeducational reports so they can help their child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Cheryl Sadd, Ph.D.
"A key aspect of my work involves consulting with parents to understand their child's unique needs and collaboratively develop effective strategies for success."
"I prioritize building a collaborative relationship with parents based on trust, empathy, and mutual respect."
"As a mother of four children, I have also been in your shoes during the psycho educational evaluation process, on your side of the table in the IEP process and understand the emotional impact."
Through open communication and active listening, Dr. Sadd ensures that parents are Empowered. By involving parents as active participants in the decision-making process, consultation empowers them to advocate for their child's needs and navigate the educational system more effectively.
Holistic support consultation, by integrating insights from psychology and special education, ensures a holistic approach to addressing the diverse needs of students, encompassing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral aspects.
